I will be attempting my first marathon for a local charity that supports vulnerable families through donations of Preloved baby items. As a mum of two young children myself, I am incredibly privileged to be able to provide everything they need but others are not so lucky, with Thanet having one of the highest rates of child poverty in the country. Mama to Mama step in when families are most in need, taking and distributing essential baby items, helping the environment in the process.

This is also a massive personal challenge for me. My husband Stuart has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer and we know our time together as a family will be very limited. With his agreement, I will be taking on this challenge to have something positive to work towards, something we can celebrate together and to make my family proud. The next few months will be incredibly hard for us all, we are so grateful for all your support.
