Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On May 4th I'll be taking on the HOWUM -Heart of Wales Ultramarathon -a 30 mile route starting and finishing in Llanidloes including sections of the Sarn, Glyndwr's Way, Severn Way and the Wye Valley Way around the Clywedog Reservoir and up to the source of the River Severn before returning to Llanidloes. In September I will undertake a second 30 miles - the RIDUM.

This year I have chosen to fundraise for Hope House & Ty Gobaith children's hospices. This fantastic charity supports local families either caring for a terminally ill child or whose child has died. Over £2.5 million is needed annually to ensure all families who need support can receive it so that no one faces the death of a child alone. I have friends whose families have been helped and supported so much at such a difficult time.

I will be taking on the Hope House ten mile canal walk again this year plus other short events as part of my training for the event.
