Alyssa's fundraiser for Saint Michael's Hospice

Alyssa Gottshall is raising money for Saint Michael's Hospice

Team: Community Fit Endure24 for Saint Michael's Hospice

Endure24 Leeds 2026 · 4 July 2026 to 5 July 2026 ·

Saint Michael’s is the local hospice care charity ensuring people affected by terminal illness can access high quality, personalised care. We help thousands of local people each year and make no charge. Each year we must raise £7 million to provide our range of services.

Story

As part of a team from my beloved local community group, Community Fit, I am raising money for a hospice that we have volunteered with which provides end of life care in a beautiful and thoughtfully cared for environment.

I will be walking my part of the race and will be proud to be completing this along with my fellow community fit volunteers who have really been pushing themselves to train for the running.

Here is our team’s introduction:

We’re about to take on a challenge like no other—a 24-hour endurance run at Bramham Park near Wetherby on 4-5 July 2026 and we need your support! Our team of four is ready to push our limits. Three of us have never done anything like this before. It’s going to be tough, it’s going to be exhausting, and it’s going to test every ounce of our determination— particularly running through the night - but we’re doing it for a cause that means so much to us, and many people in Harrogate, Saint Michael's Hospice.

Every step we take, every mile we conquer, will help this great charity to ensure that people who are affected by terminal illness across the Harrogate District can access high quality, personalised care. They offer a range of services from their Hornbeam Park-based hospice, as well as offering community based support in people's own homes and offering a bereavement service, Just B.

Your support will fuel our training, keep our spirits high during the long hours on the trail, and make a real difference for those who need it most.

Please join us on this journey—donate, cheer us on, and help turn our challenge into a triumph!
