Dawn until Dusk walk on the longest day of the year , 21 June 2023
We fund medical equipment and services to give our children the best possible care

Story

On 21st June, the longest day of the year I will walk from sunrise until sunset. I am doing this to raise money to help transform our children’s operating theatres from being an intimidating and clinical place to being one which is child-friendly, welcoming and calming.

I am also doing it to raise awareness of the complexity of some of the operations which happen at Scotlands largest children’s hospitals. I’ll be walking for 17 and a half hours, which is the same time as some of the longest operations that have happened in our theatres.

All of the money I raise will be used to help make our environment more welcoming and relaxing for the children and families who come to us for operations. It will make an incredible difference to tens of thousands of Scotland’s children.

Thank you.
