In August 2023, we are tackling the challenge of trekking to the World's highest base camp to raise money for Meningitis Research Foundation. This is going to be an EXTREME challenge, from the 8-hour days of trekking up steep terrain, the effects of high altitude on our bodies, to the basic sanitation. We will even have to purify our own drinking water!

We are doing this to support Meningitis Research Foundation, a charity that aims to defeat Meningitis globally by 2030! They help support survivors of meningitis and their families, whilst funding research projects to help defeat this disease.

I enjoy trekking and this a great opportunity to be a part of an amazing team who are committed to undertake this challenge for an amazing cause.

In addition to the challenge above I also aim to cycle the distance from Swansea to London and back twice which is equivalent to 750 miles. I will try to accomplish this in the space of 7 months. Please follow my progress on this page as I will be posting my Strava logs.
