Story
Next month, I'll be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Over the past year, The Royal Marsden has provided outstanding care, treatment and support for my father-in-law. The expertise, compassion and facilities they offer have made an incredibly difficult time that little bit easier for our family, and this is my small way of giving something back.
Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will help The Royal Marsden continue providing life-changing care and support to patients and their families when they need it most.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money to save the lives of people with cancer. They ensure The Royal Marsden’s world-leading nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
I know times are tough, so if you're not able to donate, your encouragement and support would mean just as much. Please send some positive thoughts my way on Sunday 11 October as I take on the challenge, but more importantly, take a moment to think of those facing battles far greater than a half marathon.
Thank you so much for your support ❤️
