On 27th April 2025, Alexander and I will run our 1st ever marathon in London. We are raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK, which is the UK's leading dementia research charity. We are doing this for my mother (and his grandmother), who is 84 and has both Alzheimers and Dementia and for my father, who has dedicated his life and all of his energy and patience to care for her at home. But not only…. we are shocked and saddened by how many of our friend’s families have also been affected by this terrible illness and how it is fast becoming one of the biggest causes of death in the U.K. In fact, every 3 minutes dementia steals a life. Research is the only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
