We are a team of open water swimmers who are taking on a swim that many swimmers and boat pilots describe as an "impossible swim". We aim to swim from Alderney in the Channel Islands back to England. The tides around Alderney known as the 'Race' are what makes this swim so difficult. Last year Odyssey Squad almost completed this 63 mile crossing, but after almost 36 hours of swimming and just 7 miles from our finish point, we were forced to stop for safety reasons due to worsening sea conditions.

This August, a re-vamped team are going to attempt this 'impossible' feat again! We are 'Odyssey Squad 2'.
