My Son Joey has spent the first 3 years of his life in and out of hospital with breathing problems everytime the weather changed he became ill.

Before he was 1 years old we were blue lighted to hospital with sirens due to him being floppy, lifeless, constant being sick and not responsive like usual. I really thought I was losing my little boy. Being a single mum I never left his side. He was so special I couldn't lose him.

Joey had broncolitus and was admitted for 4 days on a nebulizer, oxygen and inhalers. Everytime the weather changed in temperature he would get ill constantly, not eating, up all night coughing, struggling to breathe and not his normal self.

We've had many visits, but (touch wood) since been put on daily inhalers and medication we haven't had to go for a full year yippee!!

I can't thank the hospital enough. They've all been amazing looking after my Son so I wanted to return my appreciation by doing SOBER OCTOBER to raise money to help other children.

Every parents worst nightmare is their children getting ill. Touch wood it doesn't happen but loads of our children will have needed the hospital atleast once before they reach adulthood.

Please help me raise as much money as I can, to help to say a big thank you for having such an amazing hospital on our doorstep in Sheffied.
