I'm embarking on an incredible journey, participating in the "Overgate Hospice Sahara Desert Trek!" to support a cause that is close to my heart. Overgate Hospice provides expert care, support, advice, and information for patients and their families, carers, and loved ones. With their upcoming Big Build Project, they need our support more than ever.

Living with a life-limiting illness can affect a person in many profound ways. At Overgate Hospice, we work in partnership with each patient to provide tailored care and support based on their individual needs. Our highly qualified and skilled team ensures that all medical and nursing care meets the highest standards. Importantly, all our services are free of charge for individuals over 18 living in the Calderdale area.

While we know we cannot add days to life, we can certainly add life to the days of our patients. This trek will span over six days of adventure—camping under the stars each night while trekking through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains and across the vast Sahara Desert, including the magnificent Chigaga sand dunes.

I am asking for your generous support as I aim to raise £1,000 for this vital cause by November 5th, 2025.
