Steve and I are completing the Alta Via 1 which is a 125 km trek across the Italian Dolomites. We are raising money for Community Solutions North West who are a Lancashire based charity who work with vulnerable and isolated people to provide support such as finance, bereavement, counselling and training. They are run mainly by volunteers who give up their time to help people in the community.

I am very nervous about this trek as I know it’s going to be a challenge for me as we will be carrying our rucksacks the whole way, unlike Everest, and 2 days the distance is 20 km, which will be hard walking uphill with a backpack. Steve and I would really value any support you can give and we look forward to sharing our experience with you
