I'm Abseiling down the new hospital block to raise money for the l&d maternity department.
In November 2020 I was unfortunate enough to experience the love and care the bereavement team provide to patients as my daughter hope passed away at an hour old due to having left hyperplastic heart and avsd, I'm doing this I'm memory of her to raise vital funds to make life easier for parents going through the bereavement of a child lile myself, Luton and dunstable hospital have also helped me back in February 2014 when I had a major bleed after delivery, the care I received was above amaz8ng, then in January 2015 I went into premature labour at just 32 weeks and gave birth to my now 10 year old daughter, she weighed a tiny 2lb 4oz and if it wasn't was the swift actions and equipment available it may have been a different outcome.
Luton and dunstable hospital hold a special place in my heart, and now here I am part of an amazing team in the maternity unit working and raising money for the very place that provide the care, love, support and services to me during my tough times and happy times in making my family of 6 children.

This appeal is very close to my heart as the care i got during all my pregnancies, births and also bereavement of my daughter hope who was born with left hyperplastic heart and AVSD of the heart.
I'm now part of the team within maternity and am pleased to be fundraising for such a worthy cause.
