Amanda's fundraiser for Scoliosis Support and Research

Amanda Harrison is raising money for Scoliosis Support and Research

Team: Team fundraising for Scoliosis Support and Research

The 3 Yorkshire Peaks · 6 June 2026

Scoliosis Association UK and British Scoliosis Research Foundation merged in 2023 and are now known as Scoliosis Support and Research. We promote and fund research into scoliosis and other spinal conditions in the UK, whilst providing support and information to people affected by scoliosis.

Story

We are the team at Relative Connections, and this year we’re taking on the Three Yorkshire Peaks Challenge together to raise money for Scoliosis Support & Research — a cause that means a great deal to us.

One of our team members, Jess, lives with scoliosis, and through her we’ve seen first‑hand how much this condition can affect someone’s daily life. Scoliosis isn’t always visible, and many people live with pain, fatigue, mobility challenges, and a lack of understanding from others. It’s far more common than people realise, yet support and awareness are still limited.

That’s why we chose this charity.

We want to help fund research, raise awareness, and support the people and families who are navigating scoliosis every day.

Taking on the Three Peaks is a huge challenge for all of us — physically, mentally, and as a team — but doing it for a cause that’s so personal makes every step worth it. We’re proud to be doing this side by side, supporting each other, and showing that connection and community can make a real difference.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps.

Your support will go directly towards improving understanding, treatment, and support for people living with scoliosis.

Thank you for cheering us on and helping us make an impact.
