My London Marathon for The Lullaby Trust! In memory of my brother Shane

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
I'm going to be part of Team Lullaby and running the London Marathon in 2025!!!!!!
It has always been a life time ambition to run the London Marathon, and I couldn’t be prouder to be running it for the Lullaby trust.
My eldest brother Shane sadly passed away at just 8 months old in 1981 from sudden infant death. I will always be heartbroken that I never got to meet him. I have always felt in my heart that he would have been the best big brother ever, and a huge part of my life.
Sadly my family did not know about charities such as the Lullaby trust back then, and I’m sure they would have been a huge help and comfort for my mum in what was the worst experience of her life.
I am running for Lullaby Trust so that they can support families in the future that will sadly go through a similar heart break.
The Lullaby Trust is a charity that saves babies' lives and supports bereaved families. Around 3 babies a week still die from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), The Lullaby Trust is committed to bringing that number down to zero.
I will be raising awareness and funds that will be helping families who have lost a baby to receive specialist help, funding research to prevent more babies from dying suddenly and unexpectedly, and allowing more parents to receive advice on safer baby sleep.
Your kind support is crucial to creating a future where no baby dies
suddenly and unexpectedly. The Lullaby Trust is reliant on voluntary donations so your generosity helps save lives.
