Story
On Saturday 8th August, I’ll be taking on the Derbyshire Three Peaks Challenge — a tough 33km route covering:
Kinder Scout (633m)
Bleaklow (633m)
Higher Shelf Stones (621m)
I’ll have just 12 hours to complete the entire challenge, all in one day.
I’m doing this to raise money for a charity that means a great deal to me and my cousin Joanne who is completing this challenge by my side. Dementia has affected my family personally, with both my mum and my uncle living with the condition, so this challenge is something very close to my heart.
Every step will be in honour of them and everyone else affected by dementia. Any donation, big or small, would mean so much and will help support the incredible work being done for those living with dementia and their families.
Thank you so much for your support — it genuinely means a lot.
