Key to the Door: The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre is fundraising for a new home in its 21st birthday.

I have personally benefited from the support that Pickering offers. Following my diagnosis and treatment for non-Hodgkin lymphoma in July 2023, the Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre has been a place of healing. I’ve received therapy, treatments, mental health support and met some inspirational people in my time there. I continue to visit on a regular basis and have seen how much the centre is needed and the necessity for a bigger space.

I’m excited to be fundraising for them and really hope you will help me in raising funds for their new place and awareness of the amazing work their volunteers do.

What? Quiz Night

When? 31st May @7.15pm for an 8pm start.

Where? The Ridgemont Pavilion TN4 0ND

How much? £12.50 per person, includes cheese platter per team.

Drink? Cash (card) bar.

Bring some extra cash for a RAFFLE on the night - prizes TBC.

A new Centre will help the charity to enter its next stage of life on a firm footing. For this to become a reality and for its visitors – and their friends and family – to continue benefiting from the support Pickering provides, the charity has set a goal of raising £150,000 during 2025.
