In October 2026, I'll be trekking over 4 days in the Indian Himalayas taking on this incredible challenge in my role at Children’s Hospice South West to raise vital funds to support and care for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

On average, it costs £86 to fund 1 hour of care at one of our hospices.

£1,125 could fund a children’s nurse for one week

£1,620 could fund a full 24 hours of round the clock specialist medical care from doctors and nurses for a child nearing the end of their life

£2,600 could pay for a weekend away for siblings to mix with other siblings who understand exactly what they are going through​

£3,100 could help fund our food bill for 1 month at one of our hospices

We will be trekking over varying terrain for up to 8 hours a day, so I will be training for the next 6 months to prepare the best I can for these long days on this mountainous region.
