Story

Aimee and I are taking part in the London Royal Parks half marathon on 12th October 2025. We are raising money for Sarcoma UK in memory of my dear friend Jenny’s son Oliver. Oliver died on 22nd March 2023 at just 18 years old after he was diagnosed with a sarcoma tumour. He was a loving, caring, wonderful young man and fought this cancer courageously but unfortunately lost the battle. He is remembered dearly.

Please take time to read Oliver’s story and help us if you can. Any donations are much appreciated to help support families and research into sarcoma 🙏🏻😇🙏🏻

Please read Jenny and Greame's personal story about Oliver

Thank you for visiting our page set up in memory of our beautiful son Oliver. We've chosen to support Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.

Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. Once diagnosed it is one of the hardest cancers to treat. By supporting us, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep the specialist Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.

Your donations go so far in helping the sarcoma community:

£1 Could cover the cost of 10 texts to the support line.
£10 Could be used to buy microscope slides to look at cells in minute detail.
£30 Could fund one hour of use of a high-powered laboratory microscope.
£150 Could fund the support line for a week.

Thank you for your support.
