Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page. 1 in 2 of us will develop some form of cancer during our lifetime, and in the UK, someone is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes.
That is why I'm taking on another crazy challenge with a 100mile/161km spinathon in memory of my dear sister Debbie who we sadly lost to cancer in 2020 aged just 44yrs.
I also hold dear in my heart all my family and close friends who have loved ones who have lost their battle, who are supporting those who are fighting, and those who celebrate their survival of this dreadful disease.
My event will be live-streamed on the day starting at around 9:30am. You can access it through this page.
There will be sweat, a few tears (hopefully no blood), and live costume changes. Riding my spin bike facing a blank wall in my kitchen is not going to be easy, but I'm determined to complete this and hopefully arrive home in under 5 hours. It could even be close to 4:30.
I hope my efforts inspire you and you find it in your heart to raise vital funds to help research cancer treatments and cures. Your donation will make a real difference to those affected by this disease, now and in the future.
