Tandem Skydive

We welcome babies, children and adults with neurological problems as well as those suffering chronic conditions which interfere with mobility, communication and or poor healing. Breathing oxygen under pressure is safe and improves immune function. We raise funds to continue our service.

Story

SKYDIVING to raise funds for charity - A Breath for Life

A Breath for Life, which is based near Morecambe, supports people with a variety of health conditions by providing affordable hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). It was founded in 1997 for children with cerebral palsy but now it welcomes people of all ages and conditions. More recently, many people with long covid have been attending.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a treatment of oxygen in a pressurised chamber. It is said that this therapy increases the amount of oxygen your blood can carry, promoting healing and fighting against infections. It is effective against a wide variety of illness and injuries.

During Summer 2014, a few family and friends utilised this facility which contributed to improving their health, 10 years later the benefit of this treatment prevails.

I have chosen an activity... a TANDEM SKYDIVE at Skydive Northwest in Flookburgh which is on the north side of Morecambe Bay, not far as the crow flies from A Breath for Life. This is well and truly outside my comfort zone, trust me. I will be utterly elated when my feet touch terra firma!

My flight is booked for Sunday 7th July, I am visualising a sunny day with clear blue skies, warm air and fantastic views to make this experience as enjoyable as possible!

I would be absolutely delighted if you could spare a few pennies then together we will create many pounds for much needed funds to support 'A BREATH FOR LIFE'

THANK YOU
