Story
As Hannah prepares for the 2026 British Transplant Games, we are filled with excitement and hope. This year, the Games will take place in our beloved Sheffield, a city that embodies community spirit and resilience, just like our Hannah.
Our team, comprised of over 40 remarkable children and young people aged 2 to 18, has faced incredible challenges in their lives. Each one of them is a testament to strength and determination, having triumphed over illness through the gift of organ and bone marrow transplantation.
These young athletes are not just competitors; they are champions of life who inspire us all. The Games provide them with an opportunity to showcase their talents, celebrate their journeys, and honor the donors who made their second chances possible. However, to make this event a reality for our team, we need your support.
Hannah will be organising a number of fundraising events in the coming months, we will keep you posted with what is coming up.
We kindly ask you to consider making a donation towards our fundraising goal of £1,000. Your contributions will help cover essential costs such as registration fees, accommodation, transport, and team kits. Every pound raised will go directly into the Leeds Hospitals Charity Children's Transplant Games Fund (5M97), ensuring that these incredible young individuals can participate in this life-affirming event. Together, let’s rally behind our team and make this year’s fundraising effort the best yet! Thank you for your generosity and support.
