Fundraising for Gaza: A Call to Action 🇵🇸

In the past year, over 42,000 Palestinians have lost their lives due to relentless bombings, starvation, and displacement, with more than 16,000 of those being children. The ongoing violence has left families traumatized, without homes, and struggling to survive. In Gaza, one in five people faces starvation, and countless others are in urgent need of medical care.

At the University of Leeds Pakistani Society, we stand in solidarity with those affected by this crisis. Our fundraising efforts aim to support essential emergency projects that provide nutritious food, clean water, and medical care, while also investing in the future of Gaza through education and healthcare initiatives.

How You Can Help

Your contributions can make a significant impact:

* £300: Educate one child for a semester through mobile schools.

* £96: Provide clean drinking water for 20 people for an entire month.

* £90: Ensure a month-long food parcel for a family (donations will be doubled!).

* £36: Provide treatment and medication for five people in Jabalia refugee camp.

* £35/month or £420/year: Sponsor an orphan in urgent need of care.

* £35: Deliver 10 hot meals to those facing starvation (donations will be doubled!).

Our Vision for the Future

Human Appeal’s new projects focuses on rebuilding hope and improving living conditions in Gaza:

1. Education: Our mobile schools will provide children with a sense of normality, offering classes in English, Arabic, Maths, and Science, along with psychosocial support.

2. Healthcare: We’re enhancing our health center to serve 4,000 people monthly, launching telehealth services for easy access to specialists, and initiating a mental health project to address ongoing trauma.

3. Sanitation: A solid waste management project will help reduce disease risk and keep communities clean, alongside our efforts to reconstruct Gaza’s healthcare system.
