Amara and her family's fundraiser for Crisis

Emily Veitch is raising money for Crisis

Team: Team fundraising for Crisis

We are the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We help people out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.

Story

Hello! I’m Amara, 8 years old and I’m walking 6 miles on 11th October from Limehouse to Hyde Park with my family to raise money for Crisis, to end homelessness.

I’ll be walking with my 84-year-old Grandpa, my Grandma, my Mum (who works at Crisis) and my Dad. It’s a big challenge for all of us - especially my Grandpa and me! But we want to do it together because we believe everyone should have a safe place to call home.

There are thousands of people who don’t have anywhere safe to live. Our goal is to raise £500 to help Crisis continue their amazing work, helping people to find a home, and campaigning to end homelessness. Every pound you donate will make a difference – and will help my Grandpa and me keep walking!

Thank you so much for your kindness and support!
