Nacoa's Biggest Ever Walk in Sussex · 23 March 2024 ·

1 in 5 children in the UK are affected by their parents' alcohol problems. They are often frightened and isolated, with no one to turn to for help. Nacoa responds by providing a free, confidential telephone, 1-2-1 chat and email helpline.

Story

100s will join Nacoa for their Biggest Ever Walk at Seven Sisters Cliffs.

Support our call to help vulnerable children and break the cycle of addiction.

Nacoa (The National Association for Children of Alcoholics) is a Bristol based charity founded in 1990 to provide help and support for everyone affected by a parent’s drinking.

We believe that every child has the right to a happy childhood and to live a creative and meaningful life but when drink is the family secret they are more likely to experience family violence, neglect and other problems in their own homes.

We feel passionately about this, due to personal experience. Any donation will be a great support to those affected.
