Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the "AJ Bell Great North Run 2026 - Team Autism". I am excited to take on this incredible challenge on September 13, 2026, as I participate in the Great North Run, a half marathon that starts in the vibrant city center of Newcastle. The route takes us over the iconic Tyne Bridge, with the breathtaking sight of the Red Arrows soaring overhead, and culminates with stunning sea views in South Shields.
I am running not just for myself but for the countless individuals and families affected by autism. As someone who is autistic, I have come to realize how much ignorance still exists around autism and autistic individuals. Bringing an autistic child into this world has deepened my understanding of these challenges. The National Autistic Society is a beacon of hope, providing essential support to myself, my daughter, and millions of others navigating a neurotypical world.
I invite you to join me in this important mission. Your generous donations will help raise awareness and provide vital resources for those impacted by autism. My target is to raise £350 to support this cause. Please consider donating what you can and sharing my page with your network. Together, we can make a difference! Thank you!
