We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

In October 2025, I lost my beautiful mum, Jenny, to suicide. She wasn’t just my mum, she was my best friend, my safe place, and the most important person in my world.

Jenny was the most loving and protective mum to her children, a loyal and caring sister, a devoted wife, and the kind of friend who could make you laugh no matter what you were going through. Anyone who knew her will understand just how special she was.

Jenny was truly one of a kind.

Losing her has left a space that can never be filled. But in her memory, I want to do something that could help others who may be struggling in silence.

I’m raising money for Mind, a charity that provides support, raises awareness, and fights for better mental health care for everyone. Their work is so important, offering help to those who need it most and pushing for the understanding and change that is so desperately needed.

To raise money, me and my three best friends, Connor, Emma & Ellie have signed up to take part in Tough Mudder on Sunday 20th September (Pray for us).For anyone who knows us, this will come as a bit of a shock, we are definitely not the most athletic group, and we’ll most probably be spending more time moaning/crying/crawling through mud than actually running. But we’re doing it together, with a lot of determination, a bit of chaos, and plenty of lols along the way.

Our target is £300 each, but together we’re really hoping to raise around £1500 for this incredible cause, so anything you can give will help us get closer to that goal.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean so much. And if you can’t, simply sharing this page helps more than you know.

I’d like to honour my beautiful mum, Jenny, by spreading kindness, compassion, and awareness, because everyone deserves support, and no one should have to face their struggles alone.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for helping me keep her light shining on.
