Max Appeal supports families affected by 22q11.2 DS, DiGeorge syndrome and VCFS.

Story

The Max Appeal are a small national charity, which is run by a group of parent volunteers, their mission is to try to ensure that every person with 22q deletion lives an independent and porsperous life as possible. The Max Appeal supports research to expand knowledge of the condition and support families through shared experience, information and resource and to make it possible for families to get together and talk through running events.

My sister, Libby, was born with 22q deletion syndrome, I wanted to raise awareness of this condition and fundraise for the Max appeal by doing a skydive. This charity supports the families who are affected by this.

Libbys condition, affects her and also her family and friends, who all love and support her in many different ways. 22q is a deleted chromosome and is unique to every individual from fatal heart defects, immune deficiency to learning difficulties, to name a few.

Please donate to this great charity, if you can.

Thank you

Amber
