Story
£1000 already raised and paid to spinal research thank you. 🙏
Additionally funds will now go to Alzheimer’s society.
Hello, and thank you for stopping by our Fundraiser for Spinal Cord Injuries.
I am raising money for Spinal Research, by running the London Marathon in April 2024.
I sustained a spinal cord injury, back in 2011, following an orthopedic degenerative issue and was temporarily paralyzed. This, as I am sure for many, can be a very dark and scary time. Following a long surgery and a longer road to recovery, I have been fortunate enough to regain nearly complete mobility. And whilst I get regular checks on my degenerative disease, I am mindful others may not be as fortunate.
Spinal Cord Injuries often mean a lifetime of healthcare costs, alongside secondary health complications. Which is what motivated me to raise money for Spinal Research, UK’s leading medical charity focused on the repair and restoration of the spinal cord.
Your contribution (please know that no amount is too little) would go a long way to help fund the recovery of individuals suffering from Spinal Cord Injuries.
With your help, we can #BeatParalysis.
Thank you for your support.
