London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge 2025 · 24 May 2025 to 25 May 2025 ·

Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

100kms......2 days, with a tent in the middle!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm not hugely active (other than padel!), I am certainly not a fan of camping and not always a fan of the outdoors.....however, they will also know, that once I set my mind to something, or make a commitment, I am determined, don't give up easily and that I'm up for a challenge!

So, 8 years on from my last challenge, I've decided to (possibly rather stupidly!) up the ante and sign up to the London to Brighton Ultra Challenge of walking 100km in 2 days.

Starting in Richmond on Saturday 24th May, walking 58km, camping overnight (a challenge in itself for me!) and the finishing with 42km walk to Brighton Racecourse on Sunday 25th May.

A number of colleagues will be taking part in various iterations of this challenge over the course of the same weekend and we have all chosen to use the opportunity to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. This charity is one particularly close to a number of colleagues hearts for extremely personal reasons and I am keen to support them and their families.

Therefore any support you can offer, no matter how small, would be very much appreciated and will hugely help with motivation to get me through those kms!

Thank you in advance for your support :-)
