Fitness Pals fundraising for Endometriosis UK

South Coast Ultra Challenge 2025 · 6 September 2025 to 7 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
Thank you for viewing our fundraising page for Endometriosis UK.
As some of you may know we met in 2016 at a fitness club. Being the only 2 people who knew no one, we always paired up, before you knew it we were fitness pals. Never did a session / event without one another. Here we are again, only this time is different, this time we are fundraising for a charity that supports a disease that effects myself (Amber).
I was diagnosed in 2011 with endometriosis. After many treatments I was doing okay. Me and my husband welcomed a baby in 2018 then again in 2020. Both who adore Charlotte and she is known as Winnie by both children!
Sadly about a year after our second baby my endometriosis came back, however this time it was different. The flare ups were more violent, sometimes I couldn’t stand, I cry in pain, it is around 2-3 weeks of 4 that I suffer. I have now been diagnosed with stage 4 rectovaginal endometriosis. I am waiting my second laparoscopy to see if I need a further referral to bowel surgery. Then I will be expecting a hysterectomy. I am 33, and luckily me and my husband have completed our family.
I have been told there is no known cure.
Myself and Char would like to raise money for this charity to support those suffering in silence, support groups, information and helplines provided by Endometriosis UK. Hopefully one day there will be a known found cure for endometriosis.
As my partner in fitness, a huge part of mine and my children’s lives, char is a huge support and I can’t wait to do this event together 🫶🏼
Please support us and help us raise what we can. We will be sure to take you on our journey with us on the day. We will be walking 57 KM with 1250 M of climb.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
