Great North Run 2025 · 7 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page! I am excited to share that I will be participating in the Great North Run 2025, a half marathon I've been wanting to "tick off" since university. Letting no opportunity go to waste, I've decided to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Multiple sclerosis affects thousands of individuals and their families, creating challenges that can feel overwhelming. By joining this event, I aim to raise awareness and funds for those impacted by this condition. About 5 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with MS, and is living with the condition every day. MS is a chronic and unpredictable disease, where symptoms can worsen slowly or with flare ups; common symptoms can include rapid muscle weakness, severe fatigue, and difficulty with coordination and balance.

Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of people living with MS, providing essential resources and research that can lead to better treatments and ultimately, hope.

I invite you to join me on this journey. Every donation counts, no matter how small. My target is to raise £300 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Thank you for your generosity!
