Amble Against Abduction (charity walk around Oxford) · 11 May 2024

Both Parents Matter is a charity providing information and support to separated parents to ensure a child's right to a relationship with both. Support is provided through a national helpline, website, internet forums, branch meetings and parent support workshops. It also campaigns to ensure that both parents are treated equally.

Story

FNF Both Parents Matter (https://fnf.org.uk/) is an amazing charity focused on improving children's lives by promoting co-parenting and supporting parents with co-parenting after their relationships have broken down.

FNF's International Abduction Group provides specialist support to families whose children have been abducted overseas. Today FNF is working with c.50 families of abducted children. It is also engaged with a number of governmental forums within the UK and internationally seeking to promote improved functioning of the systems that are meant to be there to protect against abduction.

On 11 May 2024, several of the abduction families, plus friends and supporters, will be meeting in Oxford for our "Amble Against Abduction". Every penny raised in sponsorship will go a long way with FNF, which as a charity achieves remarkable things on its limited budget, making a tremendous difference to people's lives at times when they may have felt no one was there for them.

Alongside fundraising, the Amble Against Abduction will also be a time of shared reflection on the fondest of memories of the abducted children who remain missing across the affected families.
