Story

Myself and good friends Claire Wood and Sarah Risely are raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, because we want to help beat MND. This cause is deeply personal to me, as my husband was diagnosed with MND in February last year. MND is a devastating disease that progressively attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord, impacting essential functions such as walking, talking, eating, drinking, and even breathing. Currently, there is no cure for this relentless condition.

My friends and I are committed to supporting the MND Association in their mission to create a world free from MND. We believe that every contribution can make a significant difference.

As we prepare for this challenging trek on June 7th, 2025, we humbly ask for your support. We will be walking the Ambleside Loop in aid of research. Together, we can help bring hope and comfort to those affected by MND. Every penny counts towards achieving our target of £1,500. Thank you for considering this cause that means so much to us and many others.
