Every year more than 8000 people in Norfolk and Waveney are told the news that they have cancer, and many more are living with the effects every day. Cancer has been present within my family and the ones I love. I know it has affected the lives of many others. It is a horrible, cruel illness and I feel it is so important to help raise money for such an incredible charity.

I have been running for just over a year now, and absolutely love it! By taking part in the Blickling Half Marathon and raising money for Big C will be helping to improve the lives of local people affected by cancer. The charity focuses on four key areas - supporting people affected by cancer, funding world-class local research, providing vital medical equipment and facilities in the county's main hospitals and educating local people about cancer for the future.

It would mean so much to me and I would be extremely grateful if you could donate and support me through this half marathon, as it is for such an incredible cause!
