Story
On June 13, my dad and I will be cycling 540km (160km+ a day) over 3 days, from London to Paris, in support of Cancer Research.
Our Route entails:
Day 1: 180km with 1870M of climbing (Kingston upon Thames —> Folkestone)
Day 2: 162km with 1626M of climbing
(Calais —> Amiens)
Day 3: 178km with 1548M of climbing
(Amiens —> Paris)
Our participation in this event is fueled by the desire to make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer. Remember 1 in every 2 of us will have a cancer at some time in our lives. With your generous support, we aim to raise £1,000 to contribute to vital research and support for those affected by this disease. Every donation brings us closer to our target and closer to world without cancer.
In March 2022, my dad was diagnosed with cancer which we have tried to keep very private as he wanted to get his head around the consequences and to protect the family from the daunting reality. However, 2 years on and with only one more set of Chemo injections to go, at the start of July he found himself putting his body on the line to achieve something that he thought would not be impossible only until last month when training.
Thank you for your support!
