Story
On September 19th, I’ll be taking on the Swim Serpentine challenge, an event in which I will have to swim a mile in the Serpentine up in London, to raise money for Enham Trust, a charity that has been supporting disabled people and helping them live with greater independence, choice, and opportunity for over 100 years.
Swimming in open water is a challenge that will push me out of my comfort zone, both physically and mentally. There will be long training sessions, and plenty of determination needed to get me across the finish line. However, these challenges are small compared to the barriers that many disabled people face every day.
That’s why I’ve chosen to support Enham Trust. Their work helps people gain independence, access employment opportunities, build confidence, and live fuller, more connected lives. Every donation, no matter the size, will help them continue providing life-changing support to those who need it most.
By sponsoring my Swim Serpentine challenge, you’re not only helping me reach my fundraising goal—you are helping Enham Trust continue its incredible work and make a real difference in people’s lives.
Thank you for your support, encouragement, and generosity. Together, we can help create more opportunities and independence for disabled people across the UK.
Please donate if you can, and wish me luck for the swim!
