On November 7th, I am taking part in the Nuclear Race in Brentwood, to raise money and awareness for Stock Ward at Broomfield Hospital.

On Stock ward, we specialise in plastic reconstruction for patients undergoing surgery for things such as breast cancer, head and neck cancer and complex wounds.

As someone who works on the ward, I see first-hand the difference that a supportive environment, good facilities and the right resources can make to our patients and their families. I’m hoping to raise money to help improve the ward and make a positive difference to the people in our care.
