A Story of Hope: Why I’m Fundraising for Little Princess Trust

When I was a little girl, my hair was a big part of my identity. But as I grew older, I realized that for many children facing cancer, losing their hair is not just about looks—it’s about losing a piece of themselves during a time when everything feels uncertain. That’s why I decided to cut my hair and donate it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides wigs made from real hair to children who have lost theirs due to illness.

As I watched my long strands fall to the ground, I thought about the child who might receive a wig made from my hair. It was a small gesture, but one that I hoped would bring comfort and confidence. But I knew I could do more.

Making these wigs is expensive, and the charity depends on donations to make sure every child who needs one gets it for free. That’s why I’m fundraising—to help the Little Princess Trust continue their amazing work. Every contribution, no matter the size, can make a difference to a child who deserves to feel like themselves again.

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
