Many years ago when I started running I told myself I would run a marathon before I turn 30 and as that happens in March it started to feel like it’s now or never so here it goes. To help with some motivation I thought it would be nice to raise money for a charity that means a lot to me. Treetops Hospice provides nursing care and emotional support for adults with life-limiting conditions, as well as support for those who have been bereaved and their families in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. They were amazing when my Nan was ill and passed away.
