I am running the Great North Run to raise money for CAUSE Foundation. CAUSE works across Teesside helping individuals and families in poverty. Their work is both wide-reaching and hugely important - including offering poverty crisis support, tackling sleep poverty and their recent Holiday Hunger Campaign. Having seen the 500+ Christmas hampers that were organised last year by CAUSE, I feel honoured to be running for the charity.
