Team: Amelia and Emily's Great Eastern Run for Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust

Great Eastern Run 2026 · 11 October 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

This fund will support children who are lacking the things they need to access the full life of school. We will remove barriers, promote equality, and champion inclusivity. Funds will be made through the fund to LAAT School Leaders so that they may meet identified needs of individual pupils.

Story

Last year, we ran the Burghley Sports Festival 10km and decided that we quite enjoyed it. Fast forward a few months and we had both signed up for the Great Eastern Run and will be running 13.1 miles on Sunday 11th October. This half marathon is more than a personal challenge; it is a chance for us to stand together for the children and communities we serve across Greater Lincolnshire.

At LAAT, we believe every child deserves the chance to thrive, no matter their background or circumstances. Through a strong focus on Excellence, Exploration and Encouragement, powered by Equity, we work to create nurturing school communities where young people can grow academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

By supporting our fundraising goal of £1,000, you are helping us build brighter futures. Your generosity will help us provide inspiring learning experiences, strengthen school communities, and continue unlocking potential for children and families who deserve every opportunity to succeed.

We are asking you to support our journey by donating, sharing our page, and cheering us on as we prepare for this special event. Together, we can turn every mile of the Great Eastern Run into lasting impact for the pupils and communities who inspire everything we do.
