The Race to See the Rise: Midnight Trek for Usher Syndrome 🌟
Amelia & Craig here 👋 we are parents to our incredible son, Albert, who is living life to the fullest despite being diagnosed with Usher syndrome a rare condition that affects both hearing and vision. While Usher syndrome presents unique challenges, Albert continues to inspire us every day with his strength, determination, and joy. 💙
On Saturday, 21st June we’ll be taking on a very personal challenge: trekking Scafell Pike, the highest peak in England, starting at midnight. Our goal is to reach the summit just as the sun rises, a powerful symbol of hope and a brighter future for those affected by Usher syndrome. 🌅
We are walking alongside Jo and Steve, the inspiring founders of CureUsher, as well as other families who know all too well the challenges of living with Usher syndrome. This journey is not just for us it’s for everyone impacted by this condition.
Why We’re Doing This:
Usher syndrome has changed our lives, and we want to change the future for Albert and countless others. The funds we raise will support CureUsher, an organization working tirelessly to fund research, clinical trials, and provide critical support to families living with Usher syndrome.
