Ami & Cameron’s 100ft Port of Leith Distillery Abseil

Ami Milligan is raising money for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland

Edinburgh Distillery Abseil 2025 · 10 May 2025 to 11 May 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

A brand new experience for SBH Scotland supporters! An abseil off the tallest whisky distillery in the world! It’s our best event yet, it’s the Port of Leith Distillery Abseil! This is the first time this event has ever been done by anyone!

Story

On the 10th of May 2025 Cameron and I will be taking on the first ever abseil of the Port of Leith Distillery.

As most people will know my little Arthur has Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and is smashing life. This charity is one close to our hearts and is the only charity in Scotland that supports people and families living with and caring for people with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus. It is a donation based charity, so without the help of the public’s donations it wouldn’t be able to provide families like us with the help, support and outings we sometimes need.

Any shares and/or donations are greatly appreciated 😃

“I have decided to take part in this unique experience and what a thrilling way to see Edinburgh's cityscape whilst raising much-needed funds for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland.

This is the first time this event has ever been done by anyone! SBH Scotland are experts in adrenaline fuelled experiences and this is a truly unique experience for you to ascend the 100ft drop off the Port of Leith Distillery. And, what a view you’ll have, with views across Edinburgh’s skyline and of the historic Royal Yacht Britannia beside you!

All money raised will go directly towards ensuring that everyone with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus in Scotland is supported and their individual needs are met in order to allow them to live the highest quality of life possible.

Please donate whatever you can as a little money really does go a long way!!!!”
