Hello all, as a veteran with PTSD I find the work that the Veterans Association do for ex members of the armed forces who fall between the cracks of the NHS, in terms of physical and mental health treatment invaluable!
This walk itself is a very mental health based thing for me to have chosen to do, sometimes I think that we just have to re-engage with our primal selves in order to find clarity in life. Walking long distance in nature really is one of the greatest medicines that exist both in terms of mental and physical health.
I'll be walking an average of 33,000 steps per day and aiming to hit 1,000,000 steps (about 500 miles) in November as a total. Anyone that wants to tag along on any given day feel free to inbox me.
