I'm running in the 2026 Edinburgh Marathon as part of Epilepsy Society's Team Purple!

I have chosen Epilepsy Society as my charity as it is a charity that has a special meaning to my family and I. I am running in memory of my sister Mariam who sadly lost her life aged 19 years old as a result of epilepsy. She used to run half marathons with me and it was her dream to run marathons!

Having ran the London Marathon in 2023 and the Brighton Marathon in 2025 for her and the charity, I want to continue this dream by running my third marathon in Edinburgh in 2026!

There are over 600,000 people in the UK living with epilepsy and I am running in support of Epilepsy Society who are the UK's only charity transforming the lives of people living with epilepsy through world-leading research, advocacy and care. Any donation you can give will help them to continue their incredible work and will spur me on throughout my training!
