Amina Ansari's DofE Wing Walk for Quest for Education

DofE Wing Walk for Quest for Education · 17 July 2025
On 17th July 2025, Amina Ansari will be taking to the skies – quite literally – by doing a Wing Walk as part of a fundraising challenge organised by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. She will be strapped to the top of a flying plane in full motion, soaring through the air in a test of courage and strength. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and not for the faint-hearted!
Amina is feeling nervous about the Wing Walk. She admits it's a scary thought, but she is determined to overcome her fears because she believes in the cause she is supporting – Quest for Education Foundation.
Amina Art Ansari is a celebrated British-Pakistani visual artist born in London. She studied at Central Saint Martins and the National College of Arts in Lahore. Her work includes portraits of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah for the Pakistan High Commission and a painting of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh displayed at Windsor Castle. Amina has worked with the British Army, the Royal Navy, Lords Cricket Ground and many cultural organisations.
She recently had cochlear implant surgery and is now taking on this daring challenge to give back to a cause close to her heart.
Quest for Education Foundation is a UK charity that supports schools and students in Pakistan. The charity helps children from underprivileged communities get access to a proper education in a safe and caring environment. With your support, QEF can continue to provide books, teachers, facilities and hope for children who would otherwise miss out on learning.
Amina’s Wing Walk is a bold personal challenge and a powerful message of support for children’s education. By sponsoring her, you are helping QEF give these children the chance to grow, learn and achieve a better future.
Please donate what you can to support Amina and this amazing cause. Every pound makes a difference. Thank you so much.
