Assalamu’Alykum everyone,

This Ramadan I am raising money for our brothers and sisters in Gaza Insha’Allah.

After nearly 5 months of brutal war, many losing their lives and injured, over 1.5 million innocent civilians have been displaced from their homes mainly from Gaza City 20 miles to Rafah, South of Gaza Strip.

Preganant women, babies, infants and the injured have made the perilous journey with short supply of food, water & medicine and with plumetting temperatures causing many to lose their lives on the way.

Alhamdullilah this Ramadan One Ummah charity are on the ground in Egypt to support them right away.

Myself and 7 other volunteers are performing a sponsored walk to collect donations for the innocent souls caught up in this catastrophic humanitarian situation. We will be walking 20 miles from Loughborough to Bradgate Park and do a return journey back to Loughborough in the month of Ramadan whilst fasting. This is to symbolise the displacement of Gazans from Gaza City to Rafah which is approximately a 20 mile walk.

Your donations can go towards:

£50 - Can provide life saving aid.

£100 - Can provide a family of 5 with an emergency pack.

£120 - Can feed up to 3 families of 5 for up to one month.

£200 - Can provide 2 families of 5 with emergency packs or feed 5 families of 5 for one month.

In this blessed month of Ramadan where deeds are multiplied manifold, we kindly ask for any donations towards this cause for our brothers and sisters.

We will share images of the Sponsored Walk for those who wish to keep up with our journey. Please be assured that every penny you donate will go to the One Ummah Charity and not a single penny will go towards the team.
