My Marathon 🏃♂️
March 2020. It's lockdown. I'm bored, restless, and looking for something to do. That's when I discovered running. What began as a way to pass time turned into a bit of an obsession, my wife would say that it's probably become my life. Fast forward to today, and that journey is taking me to my first major marathon: London.
And to support what? Since I'm unlikely to win the race, I wanted to use this opportunity to raise money that will provide live-saving aid in Gaza through Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF / Doctors Without Borders)
Despite the long-overdue ceasefire, Palestinians are in desperate need of emergency assistance. MSF is present in Gaza and has been there for over 30 years. They have been working since the beginning of the current conflict to treat the wounded, supply overwhelmed hospitals and provide essential medical care including surgical, wound and burns and maternity care.
With your support, I aim to raise £1,000 to ensure that MSF can continue their life-saving work in Palestine and going where others cannot or choose not to go.
Thank you for your help!
