Story

This is my 3rd Ride Across Britain (Land's End to John O'Groats) bike ride. So far I have raised over £5000 for Macmillan through all my adventures.

I'm also doing my 3rd Mallorca 312 - going for the long one this time!

Please sponsor me - its a worthy cause.

One of my darkest moments in Medicine was when a patient we were treating for cancer was half way through and committed suicide. Its not something I talk about a lot, but I felt that more could have been done to make his journey easier. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about him.

I believe cancer sufferers go through a horrendous time from diagnosis through treatment and it can seem relentless. Macmillan are there to help that process and get patients and their families through the despair, the pain, the never ending hospital visits and more. I support their work through my charitable efforts as one day I may need to call on them for support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
