Story
In May I’ll be repeating an adventure which I partook in 2025, cycling 300km from London to Paris in 24 hours in the Duchenne Dash.
The ride supports Duchenne UK and their fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a muscle-wasting condition that currently has no cure and dramatically shortens the lives of those affected.
So while I’ll mostly be battling sore legs, fatigue and questioning why I'm making the same dodgy life choices, the cause behind it is far more important.
I’ll be riding with colleagues from Foodbuy along with hundreds of other riders, all raising money to help fund research and accelerate treatments for DMD.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it will make a real difference — and will also provide motivation and a spiritual push for me when I’m somewhere around the 200km mark wondering why I re-agreed to do this.
Thank you!
Amos
